Well, I’m not going to rehash last week’s list. I finally made some decisions and stuck to them for the most part (yeah, I had some sweets over the weekend, but nothing really over-indulgent). I got in three runs last week and I plan on doing the same this week. I’ve got the Turkey Trot coming up next week, so I’ll slow down then. Until then, the training continues and I plan on beating my previous 5K run time.
My food choices were SO much better this week. It’ll be interesting tomorrow with the luncheon I’m attending (and skipping the Thanksgiving Potluck at work, so I’m sure I’m saving myself a ton of heartache and pumpkin pies).
Most of all, I already feel better about myself and my direction. I know I can do this and I’m not going to let my sugar cravings get the best of me any more. One step at a time and I’m going to make goal.
