Top 100 Movies
By now, many of you have seen the list of “All-Time 100 Movies” on Time Magazine’s website. I looked through the list and found myself realizing just how much time I’ve saved/wasted.
Time Saved? Well, here’s the deal, I’ve only seen 7 of the movies listed among the 100. On an average of 2 hours per movie, that means I’ve saved myself so far from seeing 186 hours worth of movies that Time *thinks* I should see. That’s a total of approximately 7.5 days. Woohoo!
Time Wasted? I sure would like to get back the time that I wasted on movies that were just complete garbage.
Now, to waste more time… Review the list and post a comment on here bragging on how many you’ve seen on the list. As an extra bonus, try to guess the seven movies I’ve seen (hint: I’m currently 35 if that helps).

I’ve seen 38.
Wow. Clearly too much time on my hands.
However, back to the game, I reckon you’ve seen:
“Blade Runner”
“ET”
“Star Wars”
“Goodfellas”
“Unforgiven”
“Schindlers list”
And, because you’re a Texan, you must have seen “The Searchers”.

You got four of them. “Blade Runner”, “ET”, “Star Wars” and “Schindlers List”.
I didn’t even know what “The Searchers” was about until you mentioned “because I’m a Texan”. Just pulled it up on IMDB.com. Interesting. I’m sure my wife may have seen it as her father was a huge John Wayne fan.

Well, before this post drops off the face of the page, I’ll list the other three:
“Finding Nemo” (and any other film by Pixar)
“The Lord of the Rings” (and probably will see Peter Jackson’s version of King Kong… only saw bits and pieces of the original)
“Pinocchio” (and almost every other animated Disney movie ever made)
