On the Meme Again…

I’ve decided to reply to another meme because I liked the questions and the invoked some interesting thoughts/memories inside my head. So I now send the “link love” to John.

  1. What do you add to your coffee?  the nearest trash can or drain… I hate coffee (and probably always will… I still try it out about once a year just to confirm my current estimation of its flavor).
  2. What are you reading now?  Waking The Dead by John Eldredge
  3. Do you own a gun?  Yes, one if you count my BB rifle.
  4. Are you registered to vote?  No.
  5. Do you get nervous before doctor appointments?  No.
  6. What do you think of hot dogs?  Love Hebrew National and Johnsonville Beef Brats.
  7. Favorite Christmas Song?  The Night Santa Went Crazy. (I don’t keep Christmas)
  8. What do you prefer to drink in the morning?  Water.
  9. Can you do push ups?  YES… more than when I was in school, but not enough.. yet!
  10. What was the name of your first boyfriend/girlfriend?  Only real girlfriend was Amy, who became my wife (all others were completely imaginary).
  11. What’s your favorite piece of jewelry?  Wedding band.
  12. Favorite hobby?  Reading, digital photography, sewing Ren Faire costumes.
  13. Do you work with people who idolize you?  Not currently, in fact, had a major screwup this week.
  14. Do you have ADD?  Only if you count rarely finishing a personal project (of which I have dozens in progress right now).
  15. What’s one trait that you hate about yourself?  See previous question.
  16. What’s your Middle name?  Anthony.
  17. Name 3 thoughts at this exact moment.  Almost wish Anthony was my nickname, hope I don’t screwup again any time soon (or ever would be better), my eyes are getting tired.
  18. Name 3 things you bought yesterday today.  lumber, pry bars, exterior latex paint (my dad was over to help me do some repairs on the house).
  19. Name 3 beverages you regularly drink.  WATER, fat-free milk, unsweet decaf tea.
  20. Current worry right now?  That I have too much yardwork, housework, bills, etc. etc. etc.
  21. What side do you dress to?  Right
  22. Favorite place to be?  In my recliner chair reading while listening to calming music.
  23. How did you bring in the New Year?  Slept through it as I always do since I don’t observe it.
  24. Where would you like to go? England/Ireland/Scotland.
  25. Name three people who will complete this.  Seeing as most of the people I know do not have blogs, I have no expectations.

  27. What color shirt are you wearing?  Black “Northern Tool” t-shirt that says:  Cover your ears, I’m about to do something very loud.
  28. Do you like sleeping on satin sheets?.  dunno, never had the opportunity.
  29. Can you whistle?  Qualified “yes”, it more closely resembles a loud nose whistle, but I don’t count it a full whistle.
  30. Favorite color?  ORANGE.
  31. Could you be a pirate?  Not really, I don’t have the stomach for killin’ or rapin’ or pillagin’.  As for a desire to be at sea, I’d love that.
  32. What songs do you sing in the shower?  Yellow Submarine by the Beatles.
  33. Favorite girls name?  Elizabeth
  34. Favorite boy’s name? Edward.
  35. What’s in your pocket right now?  28 cents, keys, cellphone, wallet, ink pen, small time tracker.
  36. Last thing that made you laugh? Playing Scrabble with Amy, and our friends Holly and David last night.
  37. Best bed sheets as a child?  I loved the Chenille blankets at my grandmothers house in San Angelo, TX.
  38. Worst injury you’ve ever had?  Got hit on top of the head by a bowling ball once… happened to stand right into the trajectory of it.
  39. Do you love where you live? I love the location, just not the house, but then again, I’d love the location more if work were closer.
  40. How many TVs do you have in your house?  Three (TV room, my office, and Amy’s office).
  41. Who is your loudest friend?  Chris Simonton.
  42. How many dogs do you have? One, his name is Jack.
  43. Does anyone have a crush on you?  This fat tub of lard?  Don’t think so.
  44. What are the most fun things you ever did?  Going to a water park in South Mississippi, camping in Big Sandy for the Feast of Tabernacles, going to Disney World with my wife and cousins.
  45. What are your favorite books?  The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien.
  46. What is your favorite candy?  Peanut butter M&Ms.
  47. Favorite Team?  The Benchwarmers
  48. What songs do you want played at your funeral?  Only having a graveside service and there will be no music of my choice.
  49. What were you doing at 12 AM?  Driving home from the game night at Holly’s (see question 36).
  50. What was the first thing you thought of when you woke up?  My parents would be here in 30 minutes so we can do the repair work on my house.  I need to get up NOW!

    4. It gives you the freedom to avoid serving on a jury pool for $10/day (that’s what they pay in OR).
