Mental Dander

I love free wi-fi hotspots… especially at a restaurant not far away from where your wife is working late. I’m at Corner Bakery and killing time while she finishes up some work to get caught up thanks to some unexpected “hot” items that needed to be done today.

This article came across my newsreader today as we’re pondering our packing lists for our trip to Seattle soon.  I took a few of the tips I read and made a stop at Kohl’s before getting here.  I picked up two of those quick-dry “wicking” shirts. These two looked decent enough as normal pullover shirts that I plan on taking them on the trip.  After all, they won’t take up as much space due to the lightness of the cloth, they’ll dry fast so I can just wash them in a sink and hang them up to be worn two days later and they were buy-1-get-1-free (so at $20 for the pair, that was great).

As an aside, I also got two pair of Dockers cream colored pants for $3.99 each.  Awesome!  I also purchased a reversible belt that was only 42″ long (most of my belts are 48″ or longer).  It fits and will replace a few of my belts.

She just messaged me, she may be staying longer than 7pm.  Well, that may mean I have a little more time to surf.

My email contained my latest ThinkGeek.com update which includes a new Indiana Jones Fedora.  The price is more than I’ll pay for a hat, but it looks pretty darn cool.  I’m not buying as much on the website as I used to, but I’ve got enough t-shirts for now and we’re watching our spending (yeah, yeah, give me a break on the deals I got at Kohl’s).

I had told my wife I might go to Fry’s Electronics to see if I could get her to work faster… didn’t work, but she’ll probably give me a punch on the arm when she reads this.

Well, I can’t think of much else.  My workouts are continuing even though my workout buddy seems to be losing interest (though it may just be work getting in the way).  I feel good doing it and I know it’s good for me.
