Amy and I watched the initial mini-series of the new Battlestar Galactica last night (all 3 hours) on DVD. We were pretty much glued to the set the entire time. My wife’s complaints were that they changed the sex of Starbuck and Boomer. There were actually a ton of changes from the original, but this version is much more dramatic and beautiful (the special effects are quite well done).
Amy told me later after it ended “when you watch the first episode, I want to watch with you.”
I replied, “So, you’re hooked?”
“Yeah, it’s your frakin’ fault.”
