Amy got to bed late so she wasn’t getting up until 6am. I got up at 5:15am, but just didn’t have the motivation to do a workout. Instead, I went to work early to get a headstart on some projects that will keep me very busy for this month.
Food:
- Breakfast (7:15am) - ChickFilA chicken burrito (9pt), water.
- Snack (9:45am) - Snickers bite (2pt), 1 pear (1pt).
- Lunch (11:45am) - 1/2 Lenny’s Sub Shop Chicken Philly Cheese Steak reg sub (8pt), handful of pretzels (2pt), Snickers bite (2pt).
- Snack (1:00pm) - valencia orange (1pt).
- Dinner (6:30pm) - two small turkey quesadillas (12pt), 1 cup brown rice (2pt), tostitos & salsa (5pt), salad (0pt), 24oz fat-free milk (6pt).
Exercise:
- 5:30am - 3.1 mile (5K) run in 34:39.53 for 628 calories burned and a max BPM of 157 (+7 activity points). A very cold run (34ºF) and very quiet. There was very little traffic this morning and only one dog bother to get up and bark at me. I tried using a scarf to cover my face, but the only negative was that my exhalation fogged up my goggles. I may try using a bandana next time. Overall, a good run and it felt good to get back into the swing of things.
State of Mind:
- Pretty good. I went over my points today, but not too bad.
Weekend:
- I’m gonna have a tough time over the weekend with the church potluck on Saturday and Geek Sunday the following day. I doubt I’ll get in any workouts, but I’ll enjoy playing Rock Band with a few best buds.
