Food:
- Breakfast (5:30am) - wheaties w/ skim milk, whole wheat reduced-fat biscuit toasted w/ peanut butter.
- Post-run (7:45am) - whey protein shake.
- Snack (10:15am) - 15 roasted almonds
- Snack (11:30am) - handful of pretzels.
- Lunch (1:00pm) - leftover Spinach Enchilada w/ roasted veggies & rice, small roasted veggie sandwich, small chicken salad.
- Snack (4:00pm) - Dove dark chocolate.
- Dinner (6:45pm) - leftover corned beef w/ roasted potatoes & onions, handful of crackers w/ reduced-fat veggie cream cheese, unsweet tea, WW cookie (1pt), WW snack cake (1pt).
Exercise:
- 6:45am - 5 mile (8.1K) run in 1:01:00.00 for 1121 calories burned and a max BPM of 1561. Ah, a much warmer run at 50 degrees. Funny, the last time I ran at 50 degrees, I was freezing, but this was much easier having run during freezing temps on Friday. Not a great time for my usual 5 mile run and I’m not sure why. I didn’t do intervals this time, so I didn’t blow all my energy on the first 15 minutes, but it still seemed slow. Guess I’ll have to try again later in the week.
- 5:30pm - I got home before the wife (we took separate cars today) and we were having leftovers, so I knew I had time to do something else. I decided to change my work shoes to sneakers and took Jack for a 25 min walk. It felt great and the weather was just right.
State of Mind:
- Tired, but content. Gonna catch some sleep after I finish posting this Youtube video.
Tomorrow:
- I plan to do a workout in the fitness center at work. We shall see what happens.
